Statement Regarding Mask Enforcement at Rochester International Airport

(Rochester, MN--April 19, 2022) The Rochester International Airport announces a change to mask enforcement regulations inside terminals and other facilities effective immediately, wearing masks will be optional after the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) issued guidance that it will no longer enforce mask-related regulations and will be withdrawing security directives that required face masks at airports, on aircraft and other forms of public transportation. The CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings.
Effective immediately, most major airlines announced masks are optional for airport employees, crew members and customers inside U.S. airports and on board aircraft domestically and on most international flights. Select international flights may still require masks and is dependent upon the arrival of countryβs requirements. Please check with your airline for updates.
