Rochester International Airport to launch "Arts Elevated"

Rochester, MN (October 1, 2019) – Rochester International Airport (RST) is launching a new program “Arts Elevated” to showcase local and regional artists within the main terminal. Arts Elevated will enhance the airport experience and provide comfort and care to customers while at the airport.
A call for art will be issued in partnership with the Greater Rochester Arts and Culture Trust. Artists can submit works of art for consideration between October 1 and November 30. Selected art will be displayed beginning in January 2020 with rotations of new art twice a year.
“We are continually improving the experience at RST” said Tiana O’Connor, RST’s marketing and communications manager. “By showcasing regional art, we will enhance the sense of place and connection to the local community through these displays.”
