United Airlines to launch service at Rochester International Airport

th the launch of air service at Rochester International Airport (RST).  Beginning June 8^th, United Airlines will operate three daily flights to and from the hub at Chicago O’Hare. “We are incredibly excited to welcome United Airlines to Rochester.  The addition of this service will provide 150 new departing seats per day, which is a capacity increase of 35% for our community” John Reed, RST’s Executive Director.  “Rochester, MN was the number one market in the world without United service to Chicago, with 174 passengers traveling per day each way.  Our region now has more options to connect to the world by choosing to Fly Local and we are grateful for the capacity growth United provides.” “Transportation to Rochester has emerged as a major theme in our destination planning for our patients and the community.
