Collecting Points

We’ll verify your upload and credit your Tailfin Rewards account with points for each upload. Be sure to read the Rules + Fine Print section at the bottom of the page for full details, but here’s a summary of what you’ll earn:

  • 10 points for each boarding pass upload originating from RST
  • 1-3 points for parking (one point per day of parking, up to three days)
  • 1-3 points for dining (one point when you spend up to $10, two points for up to $20 and three points for more than $20)
  • 10 points for completing occasional polls sent to Tailfin Rewards participants

Redeeming Rewards

  • Free Parking: Print your voucher (or pull it up on your smartphone) and present it at the parking exit to redeem your free parking
  • Free Beverage or Dining Voucher: Print your voucher (or pull it up on your smartphone) and present it to the cashier when making a purchase at the airport restaurant
  • Round-trip Tickets: We’ll hold a drawing near the end of the year for two round-trip tickets (total value of up to $1,000) and the winner will get to choose whether to receive those tickets on American Airlines, Delta Air Lines or United Airlines

Rules + Fine Print

1.    ELIGIBILITY

a.    The “Tailfin Rewards” program (the “Program”) is offered by Rochester International Airport (RST). Direct employees of the Rochester Airport Company and their immediate family (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) or members of their households are not eligible. Employees of airport tenants (such as airlines, rental car agencies, restaurant, TSA, and other entities operating on airport property) are not eligible. By participating, you agree to the following Program rules (the “Official Rules”).

 

2.    PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

a.     Promotional Period. The Promotional Period begins on January 1, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST), and ends on March 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. CST (the “Program Period”).

b.    Earning Period. The Earning Period (time during which Participants may earn points by completing the activities outlined herein) is January 1, 2019–December 31, 2019.

c.     Upload Window. All documents (i.e. boarding passes, parking receipts or dining receipts) must be uploaded within 14 days of the date shown on the document.

 

3.    ENROLLMENT

a.     Eligible program participants (“Participants”) must enroll using the Sign Up Form at www.flyrst.com/tailfin/sign-up and must provide a valid e-mail address, first and last name, phone number and zip code. One account per person.

 

4.    COLLECTING POINTS

a.     Participants can collect points during the Earning Period in at least four ways, and RST reserves the right to add, change or remove avenues for earning points at its discretion.

i.     Boarding Pass. To earn points for a boarding pass, the participant must upload a legible photo or screenshot of a printed boarding pass or digital boarding pass that contains the Participant’s name and the date of travel using the online boarding pass upload form (http://flyrst.com/tailfin/boarding-pass/). (Note: Even though Delta digital boarding passes do not show the date, they are still accepted. RST reserves the right to request additional documentation, such as ticket purchase receipt(s), for verification purposes.) Boarding pass must be uploaded within 14 days of the date shown on the boarding pass. Only boarding passes where RST is listed as the originating airport are permitted. One boarding pass upload per person per day. The name on the boarding pass must match the name on the Participant’s enrollment form.

ii.     Parking Receipt. To earn points for a parking receipt, the Participant must upload a legible photo of a Republic Parking at RST parking receipt that clearly displays the purchase total and the date of payment using the online parking receipt upload form (http://flyrst.com/tailfin/parking/). Parking receipt must be uploaded within 14 days of the date shown on the receipt. One parking receipt per person per day. Points will only be awarded for days of paid parking (pre-tax amount divided by $9, which is the daily parking rate at RST). Parking days received by Participant at no charge will not be counted toward parking day accumulations.

iii.     Dining Receipt. To earn points for a dining receipt, the Participant must upload a legible photo of a receipt from the RST restaurant (331 Express) that clearly displays the purchase amount (including the pre-tax amount) and the date of purchase using the online dining receipt upload form (http://flyrst.com/tailfin/dining/) Dining receipt must be uploaded within 14 days of the date shown on the receipt.

               iv.     Poll Responses. To earn points for a poll response, the Particpant must fully complete the occasional poll (consisting                 of multiple questions) by due date stated in email.

v.     Additional opportunities to earn points. RST may offer additional opportunities to earn points throughout the Program. Each offer will be governed by the rules set forth herein and by any other stipulations issued by RST.

vi.     Verification. All uploads are subject to verification by RST.

vii.     Points. The number of points earned for each activity are as follows:

1.    10 points will be awarded to each Participant upon successful enrollment in the Program

2.    10 points will be awarded for each boarding pass upload

3.    1-3 points will be awarded for a parking receipt upload (One point per day of parking for up to three days)

4.    1-3 points will be awarded for a dining receipt upload (One point when the Participant spends up to $10, two points for spending up to $20, three points for spending more than $20)

                       5.    10 points will be awarded for completion of a poll

viii.     Expiration of points. Unless otherwise stated by RST, all points accumulated as part of the Program will expire at end of the Promotional Period.

 

5.    EARNING REWARDS

a.     Automatic Rewards.

i.     All Participants who collect enough points during the Earning Period to reach the Reward Thresholds listed below will automatically be awarded the following reward(s):

1.    10 points = One (1) entry into a drawing for two round-trip tickets (total value of up to $1,000)

2.    25 points = Two (2) additional entries (for a total of 3 entries)

3.    50 points = Three (3) additional entries (for a total of 6 entries)

4.    100 points = Four (4) additional entries (for a total of 10 entries)

5.    150 points = Five (5) additional entries (for a total of 15 entries)

6.    200 points = Six (6) additional entries (for a total of 21 entries)

7.    250 points = Seven (7) additional entries (for a total of 28 entries)

ii.     A random drawing for two (2) round-trip tickets will be held in early 2020, after the entry period has ended. One winner will be awarded two (2) round-trip tickets (total value of up to $1,000) on their choice of airline that serves RST at the time of the drawing (currently American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines). Winner will be notified via email and/or phone and will have three (3) days to claim the reward. In the event the winner cannot be reached before the end of the three day period, another winner may be selected at random.

 

6.    REDEEMING REWARDS

a.     Participants will be issued reward vouchers via e-mail. If material goods are offered as rewards, RST will provide further details on how to redeem those rewards.

b.    The following redemption rules apply for voucher rewards:

i.     Free day(s) of parking voucher. TO REDEEM: Present the voucher to the parking attendant when you exit the parking lot to receive your free day(s) of parking (each day worth up to a $9 value). THE FINE PRINT: Voucher valid 120 days from date of issue. All vouchers will have a unique identification code and can only be redeemed once by the holder of the voucher. The voucher is only redeemable in respect of the goods or services as advertised in the Program. Vouchers can’t be combined with other offers, vouchers, coupons or promotions, unless otherwise specified by the Merchant. The voucher is your sole responsibility. Neither RST nor the Merchant will be responsible for damaged, lost or stolen vouchers. All transactions will be billed in U.S. dollars. Vouchers received through Tailfin Rewards have no cash value and may not be traded, sold or redeemed for cash.

ii.     Free beverage voucher. TO REDEEM: Present the voucher to the cashier to receive one free non-alcoholic beverage (up to $2 value). THE FINE PRINT: Voucher valid 120 days from date of issue. Redemption of voucher is subject to operating hours of the restaurant. All vouchers will have a unique identification code and can only be redeemed once by the holder of the voucher. The voucher is only redeemable in respect of the goods or services as advertised in the Program. Vouchers can’t be combined with other offers, vouchers, coupons or promotions, unless otherwise specified. The voucher is your sole responsibility. Neither RST nor the Merchant will be responsible for damaged, lost or stolen vouchers. All transactions will be billed in U.S. dollars. Not valid toward alcoholic beverages. Vouchers received through Tailfin Rewards have no cash value and may not be traded, sold or redeemed for cash.

iii.     Dining voucher. TO REDEEM: Present the voucher to the cashier to receive up to $5 off food and or/drink purchase. THE FINE PRINT: Voucher valid 120 days from date of issue. Redemption of voucher is subject to operating hours of the restaurant. All vouchers will have a unique identification code and can only be redeemed once by the holder of the voucher. The voucher is only redeemable in respect of the goods or services as advertised in the Program. Vouchers can’t be combined with other offers, vouchers, coupons or promotions, unless otherwise specified. The voucher is your sole responsibility. Neither RST nor the Merchant will be responsible for damaged, lost or stolen vouchers. All transactions will be billed in U.S. dollars. Dining vouchers are valid toward alcohol purchases. Vouchers received through Tailfin Rewards have no cash value and may not be traded, sold or redeemed for cash.

c.     Expiration of Rewards. Rewards are valid for 120 days from the date of issue, or the end of the Promotional Period, whichever comes first. At the end of the Promotional Period, all rewards and vouchers expire and may not be redeemed.

 

7.    PROGRAM TERMINATION

a.     Tailfin Rewards may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

 

8.    ADDITIONAL TERMS

a.     Any fraudulent act or violation of the Program rules will result in termination of Participant’s membership in the Program and forfeiture of all points and rewards.

b.    Participants are responsible for complying with any additional terms applicable to the Program, including any age restrictions or limitations on eligibility to fly. RST reserves the right to substitute a reward with any alternate reward of equal or greater value. Taxes are the sole responsibility of Winner.

c.     All expenses not specifically described online or herein are the Winner’s sole responsibilities.

9.    INDEMNIFICATION

a.     BY ENTERING THE PROGRAM, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, THE FACEBOOK PLATFORM, THE INSTAGRAM PLATFORM, THE TWITTER PLATFORM, PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT PARTICIPANT’S INVOLVEMENT IN THE PROGRAM AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY REWARD THAT MAY BE WON. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE PROGRAM.
