Sun Country inaugural nonstop flights to Fort Myers and Phoenix take off at Rochester International Airport February 3-4

ROCHESTER, Minnesota February 2, 2022—Rochester International Airport (RST) in partnership with Sun Country Airlines announced the start of Sun Country’s inaugural nonstop seasonal air service to Fort Myers, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona. On Thursday, February 3, Sun Country begin operation with its first flight from RST to Fort Myers, Florida. Friday, February 4 is the inaugural flight from RST to Phoenix.

“Today is a great day to celebrate at RST and welcome our new partner Sun Country Airlines to our region. Leisure travel continues to lead the way for efforts to return to travel, and we are thrilled that Sun Country has added travel options for our customers to warm and sunny vacation destinations. The Sun Country flights between RST and Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) to Fort Myers begins February 3, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Service from RST to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) operates twice weekly Mondays and Fridays starting February 4. The routes will be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 186 seats, two class configuration. Tickets are available now for booking at SunCountry.com
