Arts Elevated

The Arts Elevated program showcases a juried collection created by local and regional artists. The airport manages the program with the Greater Rochester Arts and Cultural Trust. Many pieces on display are available for purchase.

Books on the Fly Mini-Library

RST and the Rochester Public Library are pleased to provide a mini-library with free books. The mini-library is located in the lower-level gate area past the security checkpoint. Any book may be taken free of charge with no obligation to return. Travelers with reading materials to donate can leave those items in the mini-library for other passengers to enjoy.

The library also features two activity booklets. One with light-hearted activities and coloring pages and another full of wellness activities from Mayo Clinic Center for Humanities in Medicine featuring meditations, journal prompts, and inspirational quotes.

Caring Tails Pet Therapy

The RST Caring Tails Pet Therapy program is an opportunity to provide an enhanced airport experience, stress relief, comfort, and care to customers through interactions with registered therapy dogs.

Trained dogs and handlers visit the main terminal during peak times, visiting customers awaiting departure and arriving from inbound flights to provide comfort and airport information.

Volunteers wishing to apply must be currently registered with a recognized dog therapy organization. The dog must belong to the handler and be at least 2 years of age.

Restaurant

Tailwind Concessions offers food, beverage, retail, and vending at the airport. View the starter and handheld menu here offered in addition to grab-and-go items such as sandwiches, yogurt, hummus, and more. Passengers can choose coffee or cocktails from an espresso to locally brewed SXSE beer on tap.

Food, beverage, and retail offerings are open for all departing flights at RST.

Free WiFi

RST is pleased to provide free wireless internet access in the main terminal. To use the free internet, turn on your device and connect to RST FREE. No password is needed to access the internet.

Mayo Clinic Concierge

A Mayo Clinic information desk is located in the Main Terminal. Patients arriving through RST can receive information regarding Mayo Clinic, the Rochester community, and transportation information related to their medical visit.

Quiet Rooms (or Nursing Mothers Room)

RST has three ‘Quiet Rooms’ — two post-security and one in the main lobby. The rooms are private with a bed or recliner as well as private adjacent restroom. Nursing mothers or other passengers needing a quiet space prior to departure may utilize the space as it is available.

Skycap Curbside Assistance

Skycap services at RST are available at the Main Terminal for passengers requesting curbside assistance with wheelchairs and/or luggage.  When you arrive at the Main Terminal, please call 507.993.8758 for Skycap services.
