John Reed Appointed to AAAE Board of Directors

Rochester International Airport is proud to share that its Executive Director, John Reed, A.A.E., has been appointed to serve on the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Board of Directors for 2025-2026. The appointment was made during AAAE’s 97th Annual Conference & Exposition, held June 8-10 in Atlanta, Georgia, and hosted by Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

“We’re delighted that John will bring his expertise, insight, and passion for growing airports to AAAE’s Board of Directors during this crucial time for the industry,” said Rochester Airport Company President John Poe.“This appointment reflects not only his influential leadership at Rochester International Airport but also his recognized role as a leader in the airport industry.”

Reed joins a group of distinguished airport executives from across the country who will guide AAAE in delivering valued service to its members — representing more than 960 airports — while navigating ongoing operational and policy challenges.

“AAAE is fortunate to have a group of exceptional airport leaders who pledge their time, energy, and talent to help guide the Association forward,” said AAAE President and Chief Executive Officer Todd Hauptli.
