Federal and state grant funding for the GA Ramp Expansion project was secured in mid-September. Due to the unpredictability of fall weather, the contractor intends to move forward with limited construction activities this fall. Users can expect to see improvements to the GA ramp lighting with the conversion of the existing lighting to LED lighting this fall or winter. No pavement reconstruction will occur this fall. The remainder of the reconstruction and expansion work is expected to begin in April or May 2026. Users can expect to receive notification of a user meeting in the spring where the project team will share project phasing details, anticipated closure schedules, alternate routes to and from impacted areas, and ways to keep up to date on the latest developments. Check back to this webpage often as RST will provide updates throughout the project!
