WHO WE ARE

Rochester International Airport is owned by the City of Rochester and operated by the Rochester Airport Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mayo Clinic.

Rochester International Airport is under the direct leadership of the Airport Director, Mr. Martin (Marty) P. Lenss, C.M.. The Airport Commission, made up of 5 members, including the Mayor of Rochester, Director of Public Works, President of the City Council, Mayo Clinic Representative and the Airport Director. The Airport Commission resolves financial and airport development issues.

Rochester International Airport is a Class I, Part 139 FAA certificated commercial service airport, with more than 320,000 passengers annually.  Rochester International Airport is classified as an Index B airport for Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Services as required under 14 CFR Part 139. RST ARFF services are available from 5:30am to 11:00pm, 7 days per week to accommodate air carrier operations.
